The 6th Urban Green Infrastructure Symposium takes place at the University of Liverpool's School of Engineering, bringing together researchers and practitioners from across the UK to share recent work and shape future research directions.
The morning session is dedicated to Early Career Researchers and Professionals, who are encouraged to submit a short five-minute presentation on their current research or a project case study. This is an opportunity to disseminate your work to an engaged and knowledgeable audience spanning academia and industry.
The afternoon shifts to a workshop format, structured around two themes central to the future of green infrastructure research and practice:
Monitoring for Impact — Defining what performance data we actually need to evidence the benefits of green infrastructure and support wider adoption.
Valuing GI: Beyond the Water Balance — Exploring the full range of green infrastructure benefits, from ecosystem services and biodiversity to health and wellbeing, and how these can be robustly quantified.
