UGI
Symposium
4th UGI Symposium - 2022
This hybrid event brought together 19 attendees from 11 institutions in the UK, Ireland and USA, with two keynote speakers from UK industry. The 2022 symposium was held on the 30th of May 2022. During the morning's research round-up presentations from attendees covered many aspects of UGI from fundamental lab studies of soil-water interactions, up to pilot scale monitoring of SuDS, through to city-wide evaluations of greenspace connectivity.
The day's schedule can be seen here. The day was split into two halfs, with the morning session giving attendees to let people know what research they had been conducting recently. This was followed by two keynote speakers:
Zac Tudor, Associate Landscape Architect, Arup
John Brewington, Regional Development Manager, The Rivers Trust
We would like to extend our thanks to all attendees and keynote speakers. The day was full of vibrant discussions about the future of GI and we look forward to helping you facilitate those ongoing conversations.
