Symposium 2018

This event brought together 23 attendees from 4 departments across 3 faculties at the University of Sheffield, plus one keynote speaker. The 2018 UGI symposium was held on the 11th of January 2018. The second edition of this now annual event seems to have lived up to expectations to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and exchanges.

With 1 keynote presentation, 8 oral presentations and 2 poster presentations, the afternoon's agenda can be found here. Look at the breadth of topics!

Thank you very much to those of you who attended the UGI symposium. The feedback we’ve received so far has been great - especially regarding Ruth's keynote presentation, the structure and length of the other presentations, and the variety of research approaches that allowed for discussion and new ideas. So thank you all for creating the stimulating environment for this to happen.

Thank you to the Landscape Research Group for funding our second symposium.

Conveners:
